Bio
When Dan graduated from CU in 1988, he was determined to work with adults but he took the only available job at the time, in a pediatric rehabilitation center. He thought “I’ll do this until something better comes along.” Nothing better could ever come along.
Dan worked in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric rehabilitation for 16 years at Boulder Community Hospital’s Mapleton Center for Rehabilitation. He worked for several years in the schools in Adams District 50 and started his full-time private practice in 2007. His vision to provide family-centered services to children in their homes led to the establishment of McLellan Homecare in 2016.
