Bio

Whitney was born and raised in the Midwest but moved around quite a bit while serving eight years in the U.S. Navy. She and her family eventually settled in Colorado in 2017 and are staying put. As part of her graduate program, she completed internships with Laradon School working with children with developmental disabilities and severe behaviors and at the V.A. hospital in Denver working with veterans with acquired speech, language, voice, and communication difficulties. As an engaging SLP, Whitney brings her spontaneity and creative talents to each session with a family.  She provides effective in-person and virtual therapy using evidence-based methods and approaches. In her free time, Whitney enjoys working on jigsw puzzles, taking walks with her family, and digging through local thrift stores for treasures.
