Bio

Shelly brings her playful creativity to her work as an SLP. She loves to join kids as they explore and experience and learn. Frustration, feeding tubes, or big fits don’t phase her. Using Zoom, by necessity, has become an area of expertise recently. As in-home therapy re-adjusts to our current reality, Shelly continues to bring enthusiasm for a range of strategies to support development in communication.

As an AAC Consultant, she has access to the Statewide Assistive Technology Loan Bank for Early Intervention kiddos who may benefit from specific devices or equipment to show what they know. In addition, she is always grateful for opportunities to collaborate with providers from other disciplines including nurses.

In her free time Shelly enjoys spending time with her grandmother and taking in adventures large and small with her kids and husband. She currently lives in Berthoud.
