Bio

Jami wanted to be a teacher, like both her parents. Unfortunately her dad told her if she pursued education as a career that he would not help pay for her education. Initially majoring in communications to become a sports broadcaster, Jami fell in love with sports medicine as an undergraduate track and cross country athlete who spent a lot of time in the training room.

After finishing her degree in athletic training, she entered PT school intending to become a sports rehab therapist. However when the only job available was in a pediatric special needs school she jumped in and has never looked back. Jami has worked in schools for 4 years and has been in home health pediatric therapy for the last 13 years. Pediatric therapy combines her love of teaching and children with her love for rehabilitation.
