We’re happy to welcome three new therapists to the McLellan Homecare family; Channing Creveling, Jules Maxwell, and Patti Wade. Although they are new to McLellan Homecare, each of these dynamic individuals brings a wealth of experience in treating children from birth to 3 years, as well as preschool and school-age children. In addition, they are firm believers in the power of involving the family in each child’s care. We’re happy to welcome them and look forward to bringing their unique skills to the families who trust McLellan Homecare to care for their children.
Channing Creveling, Speech-Language Therapist
Channing recently relocated to from North Carolina and we feel lucky that she decided to make Colorado her home. She brings nearly 15 years of experience in Early Intervention — working with children from Birth to 3 years — as well as older children. A believer in the power of seeing children in their natural environment, she has treated in homes, preschools, daycares, and various community settings. She has a strong background working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and children with dual diagnoses (speech/language and mental health disorders).
Jules Maxwell, Speech-Language Therapist
Jules is a clinical fellow in Speech-Language Therapy with a Bilingual certification. Using his Spanish fluency, Jules is already helping several families be more involved in their children’s therapy. Although Jules is graduating with his Master’s in Communication Disorders, he brings over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including, mentoring children at an experimental K-12 school that he helped create, as well as counseling children on the effects of racism, sexism, sexual orientation, and disability.
Patti Wade, Speech-Language Therapist
With her own private practice in Los Angeles, Patti brings over 25 years of experience in Speech-Language therapy. Since moving to Colorado, she has been conducting evaluations for Child Find in Denver, which adds a unique perspective for our families who benefit from programs such as Child Find.
